BTM vs JP Nagar was a friendly, fierce weekend cricket tournament played at Puttenahalli ground in JP Nagar. The 2 groups who played cricket here were mostly from 13th Batch of JNVK along with a few other friends & Alumni from JNVK. One fine afternoon after another weekend full of fierce cricket, a thought originated in our minds to extend this to an official ANKUR sports event. One such event was already being conducted by JNV Shivamogga and it gave us more impetus and confidence to do this for ANKUR as well. 

That is how ANKUR Champions League was started in 2015. From then until now in 2023, there have been 7 seasons of ACL and it has grown to be so big. The tradition of ACL is to pass the baton to the next Junior batch of JNVK and every other batch who conducted ACL since 2015 have made it only bigger and bigger.  

Aim of starting ACL was to  bring ANKUR alumni together in the form of a Cricket tournament. The last few seasons are a proof that ACL's aim has been surely achieved as it is bringing 200-300 ANKUR alumni together for 2 full days every year. Although the pandemic temporarily put a break in ACL continuation, we believe that Junior batches will carry forward the legacy as we move ahead.
